Salus At Empty Bowls

This year at Empty Bowls Bahamas 2014, June Bug Face Painting in partnership with The Salus Project helped raised funds for this important cause.

Empty Bowls is a Non-Profit Organization established within The Bahamas which strives to bring awareness to the plight of hunger through the promotion of the arts – visual, culinary and performing.

Thank you everyone for your support

This was our first time at Empty Bowls Bahamas, our day were filled with jokes, smiling faces, awesome music by Bahamian artists and tasty soups.

Oh and I can’t forget the really cool bowls.

Anita Cates with members of the Royal Bahamas Defense Force

On Tuesday March 4th, 2014, I was invited to speak at the Defense Force as part of their Health Month.

The Topic was:
“Assess, Goal, Track and Motivation. Your recipe for Improving your Wellness”

It was well received, the participants were lively in the discussions and enjoyed the interactive session. (Click images to enlarge)

A big thanks to the Defense Force for inviting me.

Evening of Art & Music

The Salus Project, Rotary Club of East Nassau and the Bahamas National Symphony Orchestra came together on Saturday 8th March to host an evening of music at the John Watlings Distillery.

Salus was a part of the silent auction which benefited the Dennis Donaldson Music Scholarship.
